Refund Policy
At Elora Atelier Cupcakes & Cakes, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of every cake, cupcake, and cookie we create. Our refund policy is straightforward, fair, and designed to give you confidence when ordering custom or pre-made treats for important moments.
Key points of our refund policy:
Satisfaction guarantee: If your order does not meet the specifications you provided (flavor, design, quantity) or arrives damaged, contact us within 24 hours with photos and order details. We will evaluate the issue and offer a replacement or refund depending on the situation.
Custom orders: Because custom cakes and decorated items are made-to-order, we require detailed approval of design mockups and final confirmations before production. Refunds for custom designs are considered only if an error is demonstrated on our part that cannot be reasonably corrected. Cancellation requests received more than 72 hours before pickup or delivery may be eligible for a partial refund (minus non-refundable deposits and materials). Cancellations within 72 hours are not eligible for a refund due to perishable ingredients and scheduling commitments.
Delivery issues: If a delivery is late, missing, or mishandled by our delivery partner, notify us within 24 hours. We will work to make it right with a replacement, credit, or refund, depending on availability and timing.
Refund processing: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Store credits or exchange options may be offered at our discretion for faster resolution.
Food safety and allergy limits: We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for items that have been consumed, tampered with, or show signs of misuse. Customers are responsible for disclosing allergies and dietary restrictions at the time of order; we are not liable for reactions if accurate information was not provided.
Documentation and communication: To expedite any claim, provide the order number, photos, receipt, and a clear description of the problem. Our customer service team will respond promptly and guide you through the next steps.
